PURPOSE:To improve power factor and to suppress occurrence of noise, by controlling the phase of power supplied to one of a fixing heater and an exposure lamp both of the same capacity, and supplying the other with power having the rest of phase angle. CONSTITUTION:The AC input fed from a power supply is subjected to full-wave rectification with a full-wave rectification circuit 14, and switched with a switching element 12 consisting of a transistor or a GTO (gate turn-off) thyristor in accordance with a modulation signal to feed power to a load 13 of a halogen lamp or a heater. For example, the control angle theta of the power fed to the halogen lamp (b) is preferentially used with a transistor, and the rest of angle pi-theta is used for the control angle of the power to be fed to the heater (a), and the synthesized wave form (c) viewed from the input side is controlled so as to become uniform. |
