PURPOSE:To obtain a display body with a limited current consumption by controlling the transfer of indication data in the combination of a display element having a memorability for each picture element and an FF which is set by a signal for detecting changes in the indication data. CONSTITUTION:An electronic time piece system is provided with a CPU1, a memory circuit 2, a peripheral I/O circuit 3, a display random access memory (VRAM)4, an address switching circuit 5, a clock gate 6, an active matrix display body 30, an X driver 31, a Y driver and a display trigger FF33. The CPU1 performs the control by a program of a memory 2. When the output of the FF33 is H, it is transferred to the X driver 31 from the VRAM4, while it fails when it is L. The FF33 is set when it ends transferring indication data to the V RAM4 and reset after the transfer of data to the X driver ends. This minimizes the transfer of data to the display body 30 from the VRAM4 thereby reducing the current consumption. |
