PURPOSE:To superscribe only a part other than inhibited code part and to make a listing work effective, by keeping the inhibiting code as it is at the KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI (Chinese character) conversion, through the registration of the part not changed for character symbols displayed already as change inhibiting codes. CONSTITUTION:In forming a document by using a word dictionary, a code data is formed according to the operation of a keyboard 1 at a keyboard control section 2, and when a dictionary display processing is selected with the board 1, a dictionary display control section 3 is controlled. Reading of words to be registrated newly to various word dictionaries 5 is set to a register 4 of the control section 3. According to the operation, the document after registration stored in a document storage section 6 is read and displayed on a display section 10. When superscription is made while observing the display, the dictionary 5 is retrieved with inputted KANA letters, the KANJI codes and change inhibiting codes are read and they are given to a screen control section 8, stored in a screen buffer 9, and in case of the KANA-KANJI converting operation, the inhibiting code is taken as it is and other parts only are superscribed for display. |
