WRIST WATCH WITH PULSIMETER

PURPOSE:To make a wrist watch thinner while ensuring easy and accurate counting of pulses by spreading a high polymer piezo-electric film in a concave section which is formed into a watch band fitted with a cover while a pulse pressure transmitting member is provided in the concave section and the cover. CONSTITUTION:A concave section 4 formed into a watch band is fitted with a cover 5 and a high polymer piezo-electric film 6 is spread in the concave section 4. A bottom plate 4b of the concave section 4 is made into a thin film and a transmission member 8 integral formed on the bottom plate 4b is housed in the concave section 4 while in contact with the undersurface of the piezo-electric film 6. According to this invention, the watch band itself is utilized by fitting the concave section provided thereon with a cover. The arrangement of the high polymer piezo-electric film in the concave section and the transmission member in the concave section or the cover makes the thickness of a pulse sensing section less. The piezo-electric film is reduced or expanded through the transmitting member thereby enabling easy and accurate counting of pulses.
