PURPOSE:To process data on a main memory, irrespective of its arrangement and structure, by converting the number of inputted data to address information of the main memory in accordance with control information stored in a storage device, and accessing the main memory in accordance with the address information. CONSTITUTION:An address of an instruction to be executed next is set to a memory address register MAR 320 through an operating mechanism 330 by a command of a control mechanism 335, and when an access request is given to a main memory, the instruction to be executed next is fetched from the main memory, and is set to a memory data register MDR 325. This instruction is immediately sent to the control mechanism 335, is decoded, and the instruction is executed by a program stored in a control memory 340. In this way, the control mechanism 335 controls the operating mechanism 330, a memory interface and a memory control mechanism 310. |
