PURPOSE:To obtain a plate valve capable of closing a fluid passage perfectly and controlling the fluid flow correctly, by constituting a fluid passage closing part of a plate of the plate valve by a closure plate provided separately of the body of the plate, and fitting the closure plate into a hole drilled in the body of the plate. CONSTITUTION:A plate valve of this invention is constituted by forming a hole 19 at the fluid passage closing portion of the plate body 18 and fitting a closure plate 20 into the hole 19. By thus constituting the fluid passage closing portion requiring a highly accurate finishing by use of a separate closure plate 20, machining is required only forthe closure plate 20 to have a required flatness and parallelism and a polished plate can be used as the plate 18 with no need of applying any machining or finishing to the same. Therefore, it is enabled to shorten the time required for finishing and to reduce manufacturing costs and labors to a great extent. At the same time, it is enabled to obtain a plate valve having a good sealing performance. |
