PURPOSE:To obtain a capsule toner which has excellent pressure fixability together with a powder characteristic and is improved in an offset characteristic by impregnating separated and dried capsules further into an inert fluorocarbon solvent and drying the same. CONSTITUTION:The capsules are formed by forming an outside shell around a nuclear material contg. a magnetic material, pigment, resin, etc. The capsule toner prepd. in such a manner is impregnated into the inert fluorocarbon solvent at the time of separating the same from a liquid phase and drying the same, then the capsuler toner is subjected to filtering and drying treatments, by which the dried capsule toner is obtd. The resin used disperses and holds the magnetic material and pigment in the nuclear material; in addition, the resin functions to fix the visible image consisting of the toner formed on a latent image onto a medium such as copying paper at the time of transferring said visible image onto said medium. The capsule toner which has the excellent powder characteristic and pressure fixability and is improved in the offset characteristic is thereby formed. |
