PURPOSE:To ease embarkation and disembarkation of passagers in such a way that stepped parts are provided at the underwater portions of a pair of piers which face each other, expanding and contracting legs which are installed at the ship's bottom part are faced opposite to the stepped parts, and the hull is lifted up and down to be in touching water condition and in non-touching water condition by expanding and contracting said expanding and contracting legs. CONSTITUTION:Piers 1 are juxtaposed through struts 2 in dolphin form, stepped parts 3 are installed at the underwater portions, and the stepped parts 3, 3 of the piers 1, 1 are faced opposite to each other. And, the span between the piers 1, 1 are made into a path 5 for ships, and the proximity to the stopping position of the ship 4 in its central part is formed into practically the same width of the ship 4. On another hand, expanding and contracting legs 8 are made to be faced opposite to the stepped parts 3, 3 of the piers 1, 1, the hull 4A can be lifted up by stretching the expanding and contracting legs 8. Besides, 15 is a roller to guide the ascent of the hull 4A, and 7 is a cylinder. |
