<p>PURPOSE:To enable to minimize the amount of evaporated gas at the time of recommencing pouring of a low-temperature liquid, by forming a liquid sump for reserving the low-temperature liquid at a portion of an inner tube through which the low-temperature liquid is passed, and thereby approaching the temperature of the inner tube as close to the temperature of the low-temperature liquid to be transferred as possible. CONSTITUTION:While transferring a low-temperature liquid 2, a ,liquid sump 9 is filled with the liquid 2. When trnsfer of the liquid 2 is stopped for a while, the low-temperature liquid 2 in the liquid sump 9 is evaporated. An inner tube 6 of a transfer tube 1 is cooled by the sensible heat and latent heat of the liquid 2, so that it is kept at a temperature substantially equal to the temperature of the liquid 2 to be transferred. Therefore, in recommencing pouring of the liquid 2, the liquid 2 is carried into a cold container 4 with a small amount of liquid evaporated into gas, so that the amount of evaporated gas can be reduced as small as possible.</p> |
