PURPOSE:To effect the engagement of a reversing device with a friction clutch surely by a method wherein a clutch is pushed by a clutch pushing member automatically by the screw coupling thereof with an output shaft subsequent to the operation of the clutch pushing member. CONSTITUTION:A bevel gear 2, integral with an input shaft 1 and bevel gears 6a, 6b, loosely fitted to the output shaft 3 are meshing each other. The clutch pushing members 8a, 8b are engaged with the output shaft 3 by screw threads. When a shift rod 15 is operated and initial pushing forces are applied to the clutch pushing members 8a, 8b through a pushing piece 12, they are screwed by means of screw engagement and engaging the multi-disc friction clutches 9a, 9b strongly. |
