PURPOSE:To stem inundation when damaging the parts to fix diaphragm bulkheads at only the security compartments in such a way that in a liquefied gas tanker equipped with plurally partitioned holds by means of diaphragm bulkheads, water-tight security compartments are arranged putting said diaphragm bulkheads between the inside of the side bulkheads and the inside of the bottom plane. CONSTITUTION:Holds (A) of a liquefied gas tanker E are partitioned by means of diaphragm bulkheads 1, liquefied gas holding tanks 3 are arranged in each subdivisions 2 which are partitioned, and respectively water-tightly structured security compartments G are arranged putting said diaphragm bulheads 1 between the girth inner bulheads, inclusive of the bottom plane of said hold (A). Because of integrating them such as this, even if the parts to fix the diaphragm bulkheads are damaged by an accident, such as collision or grounding at the worst, inundation due to this can be stemmed at only the security compartments which have been water-tightly structure. Besides Ga to Gd shows that the security compartments G are integrated by four compartments, and 5 shows the left and right longitudinal bulkheads. |
