PURPOSE:To prevent ocurrence of such dangers as slip sideways etc. while the car is moving back down a slope with brakes applied, by furnishing a brake liquid pressure retaining valve in only one of the lines for cross piping and by allowing the valve to operate in linkage with a release fork of the clutch. CONSTITUTION:In only one of the lines a, b for cross piping, on the a side namely, a liquid pressure retaining valve 6 is furnished, and stamping on the clutch pedal 7 during control operation will allow the valve 6 to retain the brake liquid pressure in the piping a for easy start on a slope even with the brake pedal 1 set free. When the car shall go back down the slope under control, both pedals 1, 7 are stamped in and the brake pedal 1 is going to be released as going down the slope, when there is no risk of sideway slip because the other piping, the b side, is set free of brake application and thereby the wheels 4b, 5a roll. Linkage of the clutch pedal 7 with the lever E of valve 6 does not hinder start on the slope even through the clutch cable 8 stretched because the lever E is connected with a release fork 9 of the clutch through a cable 10. |
