PURPOSE:To provide a multinozzle ink jet printer equipped with nozzles of high accuracy which can be easily manufactured at a relatively low cost by tilting a multinozzle ink jet head wherein plural nozzles are arranged in the direction of the row of nozzles. CONSTITUTION:A head 1 is provided with plural nozzles A, B and an image to be printed is divided into the number of nozzle and the image is formed by plural printing spots from each nozzle. Therefore, a high accuracy of arrangement of nozzles is required to improve the accuracy of joints of spots from each nozzle. For this purpose, the accuracy of arrangement is adjusted by tilting the head 1 from the direction X of arrangement, of nozzles. In other words, if it is assumed that the impact position of the left jet is a standard point 0, and the impact position of the right jet A, is deviated from the standard point 0, the nozzle is tilted by an angle of theta so that its impact position comes to impact position B, and the deviation of the nozzle in the direction of Y (paper feeding direction) is corrected by controlling the amount of charged electricity. |
