The table is for holding a keyboard, printer and visual display unit and has a fixed table top (1) supported by legs (3). A movable plate (7) slides on (14,15) the top surface (13) and holds the visual display unit. The mobile plate is a parallelepiped box and can be immobilised in any position. It has a hole (9) in its front face so that it can be pulled or pushed into position and a stop (11), at the back, limits its forward movement.
