PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a burden required for a change operation of a picture-taking setting when users change the picture-taking setting right before a picture-taking operation.SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 comprises: an imaging unit 16; an operation information acquisition unit 53; an imaging control unit 54; an image storage unit 71; and a storage control unit 56. The imaging unit 16 is configured to capture a subject to acquire image data. The operation information acquisition unit 53 is configured to acquire information on a pattern of a user operation with respect to a prescribed part relevant to the present imaging device 1, and determine whether the user operation in the prescribed part is released. The imaging control unit 54 is configured to implement a change of a picture-taking condition of a subject to be taken by the imaging unit 16 on the basis of the information on the pattern of the user operation acquired by the operation information acquisition unit 53. The storage control unit 56 is configured to cause the image storage unit 71 to store the image data acquired by the imaging unit 16 under the picture-taking condition changed by the imaging control unit 54 when it is determined by the operation information acquisition unit 53 that the user operation is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
