PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a continuous paper sheet and simultaneously to reduce a load on a tractor driving motor by adjusting a gap between paper feeding rollers when the sheet is fed back in a printer for which the continuous paper sheet is used. CONSTITUTION:When a continous paper sheet 2 is fed back in a prescribed amount to return the sheet to an initial state after completion of printing of a final line, an electromagnet 16 is excited to attract a supporting lever 13 made of a magnetic material against a spring 15. By this attraction, the continuous paper sheet 2 is fed back by a tractor 5 under the condition that a follower roller 12 is separated from a driving roller 11 and thus no tensile force is applied between the driving roller 11 and the tractor 5. Therefore, the damage of a perforation and the like are prevented and no excessive load is applied to a tractor driving motor. |
