<p>PURPOSE:To widen the connecting area of the clutch and enable to connect the clutch smoothly without accompanying with a time delay by a method wherein a pipeline having a pressure regulating valve is provided on a hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic pressure increasing rate is changed gradually. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is started and oil is fed to a small diametral cylinder chamber 4, a piston 2 begins to move to the right, and when the piston 2 is arrived at a drain port 25, the oil of a proper amount is discharged and the pressure in the cylinder is kept at a pressure balancing with the pushing force of a spring 7. This pressure functions to a large diametral cylinder chamber 6 through the pipelines 14, 17. When the pressure in the cylinder chamber 6 is increased as the revolving number of the engine is increased, the piston 3 begins to move to the left and the pressure in the cylinder chamber 4 is increased simultaneously. When the pressure of the clutch is arrived at a predetermined pressure, the pressure regulating valve 23 is opened, a part of the amount of the oil is discharged to a drain chamber 9 through a choke valve 24 and an oil feeding amount increasing rate for the cylinder chamber 6 is decreased thereby widening the connecting area of the clutch.</p> |
