PURPOSE:To obtain a predetermined braking force by a small operating force and prevent the shoe thereof from offset wearing by a method wherein the device is constituted so that the roller thereof is situated at a dead point or the vicinity thereof upon the operation of the braking. CONSTITUTION:First and second brake levers 13, 14 pinching a brake disc 6 from both of the sides thereof are separated by a separating spring 17. A square- shaped connecting body 23 is arranged so as to surround both of the levers 13, 14 and the second brake lever 14 as well as an arm 20, equipped with the roller 21 pushing the first brake lever 13, are pivotably connected to the connecting body 23. A position wherein the roller 21 is pushing the first brake lever 13 when a solenoid 12 has pulled down a brake operating rod 10 to the lower limit thereof, is arranged so as to be located on a line or on the vicinity thereof, which is connecting a connecting point between the connecting body 23 and the second brake lever 14 to a pivotal point between the connecting body 23 and the arm 20. |
