RUNNER CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide highly accurate overrun preventive means by stopping a runner when a signal from permanent magnets on a circular track is detected twice. CONSTITUTION:Runners 2 and 3 which run on a circular track 1 have lead switches 8-11 provided thereto which actuate by signals from permanent magnets 6 and 7. A signal 41 which actuates a rotating direction switch 23 to normal direction is applied to the input terminal of either one of AND circuits 26 or 27 while the output 42 of the lead switch 8 is applied to the middle terminal of the AND circuit 26. The first signal 42-1 is neglected as the output of a latch circuit 28 is L and the runner 2 keeps on running without stopping at the position of the magnet 6. When the runner 2 makes about half circle the runner 3 approaches the magnet 6 and the lead switch 10 generates a signal 43 which is applied to the AND circuit 27 thereby making output H to actuate the latch circuit 28 which makes an output 44. When the runner 2 make further running to complete a turn approaching the magnet 6 again the switch makes an output 42- 2 to the AND circuit 26 which makes an output 45 to open an overrun preventive switch 24.
