PURPOSE:To obtain a paper-jamming detector being inexpensive and facilitating the handling of paper, by providing rotatably a paper guiding plate of a paper feeding device feeding a continuous paper sheet, and by detecting the jamming with paper, when it happens, by the rotation of the guiding plate. CONSTITUTION:A continuous paper sheet 1 is guided by guiding plates 5 and 10 and led between feeding rollers 6 and 7. The guiding plate 10 is supported by a supporting shaft 12-2 rotatably around the shaft, and when jamming with the sheet 1 occurs and causes the action of external force stronger than the retaining force of a magnet catch 13, the guiding plate 10 is rotated. As the result, a microswitch 14 operates to detect the jamming. Since the guiding plate 10 is held in a state that the extension 11 thereof is positioned on the lower side on this occasion, the sheet 1 having caused jamming can be removed with ease. |
