PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and reliable releasing mechanism by putting a single releasing member driven by a magent on a pressing roller in a printer wherein a paper sheet is held between a feeding roller and the pressing roller to be fed to a platen. CONSTITUTION:A C-shaped releasing member 21 having an opening whose size H is smaller than the diameter D of a pressing roller 4 is put on the pressing roller 4 at the central part. When a magnet 22 is excited for releasing the pressing roller 4, the releasing member 21 is attracted to the side of the magnet 22, and the pressing roller 4, held by the opening, is displaced to the side of the magnet 22 together with the releasing member 21. At both ends of the pressing roller 4 are provided stoppers 23 and 23', whereby the pressing roller 4 is released in parallel to a feeding roller 3. |
