PURPOSE:To enable to prevent deformation of the body of a container for keeping a high-temperature or low-temperature fluid therein, by controlling the variation range of the boundary surface of a fluid in the body of a container at a temperature substantially equal to the temperature of fluid in the body of the container, and thereby eliminating concentration of stress due to thermal fatigue. CONSTITUTION:Fluid 2 is introduced into an inner chamber 16 formed in the body 1 of a container between the inner wall surface of the body 1 and a jacket 15 to a level higher than an upper limit b within the expencted variation range h of the fluid 2, so that the body 1 is heated or cooled by fluid 2' over a wider range than the variation range h of the flueid 2 and the temperature of the body 1 is kept at the value equal to the temperature of the fluid. Therefore, it is enabled to prevent local deformation, buckling and rupture of the body 1 that are possibly caused by concentration of stress due to thermal fatigue resulting from variation of the fluid surface 8. |
