The chair (1) can be transformed into a bed and consists of two parts (2,3), made of foam, that can be superposed, as a chair, or juxtaposed, to form a bed. One part, forming the base of the chair, is a parallelpiped with flat faces. The other part has one section (4) of uniform thickness and a curved part (5) that forms the back of the seat. Under this is an opening (6) in which a removable part (7) fits. The two parts are joined at their front edge (15) by a slide clasp fastener (12).
