PURPOSE:To realize the extraction of each color signal with a small number of sampling pulses, by separating two multiple color signals and synthexizing these signals into two new multiple color signals containing the odd and even signals only. CONSTITUTION:The multiple color signals supplied from an image pickup element 13 with mosaic color filter and a horizontal scan time delay element 14 are delivered to signal lines 32 and 33 via an analog switch 26. Then the color separation is carried out by color separating analog switches 27 and 28 to the multiplex color signals 37 and 38 containing only the odd lines and the even lines respectively. If the signals of the same colors are contained in the outputs of these switches 27 and 28, these signals are synthesized to be delivered to the terminals 35 and 36. As a result, three pulses suffice to drive the analog switches 26, 27 and 28. Furthermore each color signal always passes twice through these switches to cause no color shift to a reproduced picture. |
