PURPOSE:To prevent the entitled system from being broken by changing the transmission line of an inputted signal even if one of electronic devices does not operate by some reasons. CONSTITUTION:Each of electronic devices 1-6 is provided with a photoelectric converter which converts an optical signal inputted through an optical fiber into an electric signal and a current to light converter which outputs an electric signal formed in the electronic device as an optical signal. If any one of electric power device 7-12 does not operate, the said 2 converters driven by the defective electric power device do not also operate. Consequently, signal transmission is made discontinuous and the whole communication system is broken. In order to prevent this phenomenon, the electric power devices 7-12 of the communication system are connected by electric power buses 14 and electric power is supplied from the electric power devices in operation to the said 2 converters not operated. Thus, if one of the electronic devices at least is in operation, all the converters can operate, preventing signals from discontinuous transmission. |
