PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic wave delay line which has diffusion between electrode layers prevented while the adhesive strength of the electrode layers is improved, by providing an electrode layer of nickel, etc., between a chromium electrode layer which constitutes a delay medium and a transducer, and an electrode layer of gold, etc. CONSTITUTION:On a delay medium 11 of glass, etc, the 1st electrode layer 12 which uses chromium having excellent adhesive strength is provided, and on it, the 2nd electrode layer 13 of nickel or nickel chromium having excellent adhesive strength is provided; and the 3rd electrode layer 14 of gold, silver, palladium, etc., is provided on the layer 13 and then a transducer 16 is coupled with the electrode layer 14 through a binder 15. The transducer 16 has the 1st electrode layers 18 and 19 on both the surfaces of a piezoelectric ceramic plate 17, the 2nd electrode layers 20 and 21 made of nickel or nickel chromium are provided on them, and the 3rd electrode layers 22 and 23 of gold, silver, palladium, etc., are provided on the layers 20 and 21. Consequently, mutual diffusion between the 1st electrode layers 12, 18 and 19, and the 3rd electrode layers 14, 22 and 23 are prevented to improve characteristic deterioration after a high- temperature, long-time treatment. |
