PURPOSE:To supply a straw application device with necessary number of straws, surely, set by set, in an aligned state, by sucking and holding the straws in the straw-receiving grooves of a transfer device, one by one, and releasing on the straw-transfer means. CONSTITUTION:The straw-receiving groove 3 has an air-suction hole 8 extending to the suction axis 7, and air is sucked through the hole. When the feeding roller 6 is rotated to the direction of the arrow while sucking the air in the suction axis with a vacuum pump 11, the straw S is sucked and held in each receiving groove 3 passed through the zone below the straw hopper 1. Each receiving groove 3 is transferred above te conveyor belt 5, and it releases the holding straw one by one to place a set of aligned straws on the conveyor belt. The aligned straw set is sent to the next straw applicaton device. |
