PURPOSE:To enable detection of accurate toner amount, by making the property change of toner stable, through the provision of a pressure detecting element and a pressing member on this element, and the operation of the pressing member on the detecting element according to the weight of a developing agent. CONSTITUTION:A strain gauge 11 and a support member 12 which supports said strain gauge 12 are formed and a pressing projection 14 is formed at a strain gauge 11 side of a pressure receiving plate 13 receiving the weight of toner. The output of the strain gauge 11 is amplified at an amplifier 16 and the output is outputted to a circuit 17 such as a display circuit. Thus, the detection of amount of toner can always be made accurately, the flowing of the toner in a toner container can be made smooth and the change in the toner property can be made stable. |
