The invention relates to a multipole shrouded plug device with a protective-earth contact, in accordance with DIN 49462, 49463 or 49465, for installation mounting, in the case of which a radial ring (1) with an axial shroud (3) is arranged close to the end of the contact support (12) on its wall, in which radial ring (1) elongated holes (5) are arranged for accommodating screws of a flush-mounted socket or surface-mounted socket, on recesses in the shroud. In the case of different embodiments of multipole shrouded plug devices, the external diameters (D) of the ring (1) and the external diameters (d) of the shroud (3) are designed to be constant irrespective of the number of fibre (pin) contacts (6) of the contact support (12). <IMAGE>
