A plurality of abrasives (256) are movably held on an abrasive holding member (251) along the radial direction of a spindle (203), and an amount of projection control member (241) engaged with the abrasives (256) is rotated relative to the abrasive holding member (251), thereby controlling the amount of projection of the abrasives (256).
