摘要 PURPOSE:To make temp. measurement non-inductive and to make the remote measurement of temp. easy by disposing a phosphor in such a way that the temp. of a measuring object is transmitted thereto, and measuring the fluctuations in the quantity of the fluorescence emitted when prescribed excitation light is applied to this phosphor thereby obviating the inclusion of electrical means in the measuring and transmitting parts. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor is disposed in such a way that the temp. of a measuring object is transmitted thereto, and prescribed excitation light is applied to this phosphor. The fluctuations in the quantity of the fluorescence emitted at this time is measured. For example, a phosphor 1 is beforehand placed in an atmosphere to be measured of temp., and while it is held satd. thermally, it is kept applied with thermal energy 5, then the excitation light 3 from a ray source generaror 2 is irradiated to the phosphor 1 via an optical transmission device 4. If the emission intensity of the fluorescence 6 released by this is detected with a detector 8 via an optical transmission device 7, the temp. is known.
