PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost, by driving a pressure air source with the restoring force of a mirror scanning mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When an original is located on a platen glass 1 and a start button is depressed, a light source lamp 2 illuminates, and a lamp 2 and mirrors 3-5 move right with clockwise rotation of a drive pulley 9, a piston 13 moves right with a spring force of a coil spring 15 for desired exposure. Simultaneously, air in an air cylinder 12 is discharged in the air with a vent valve 16. Next, optical systems 2-5 are returned left with the counterclockwise rotation of a return pulley 10 and the piston 13 is returned left. In this case, the air in a toner dust corrector 21 at the suction process of the piston 13 is suctioned in the air cylinder 12 via a filter 19, a pressure tank 18 and a suction valve 17. Since electric power to drive the pressure air source is not required, the running cost is also made low. |
