The temperature-compensated constant temperature anemometer permits directionally independent and low-noise measurement of low air speed by means of NTC thermistors arranged in a bridge. Because of the small dimensions, the anemometer is particularly suitable for boundary layer measurements. This is achieved by particular selection of the different combination of characteristics for the voltage/current characteristic, resistance values, resistance/temperature characteristics of the measuring and compensating NTC thermistor.
