For plastering walls having insulating boards, a first coat of plaster is initially applied to the insulating board and after a period of time in which the first coat of plaster is able to harden, a reinforced coat of plaster is applied. In this process, after the hardening of the first coat of plaster, a reinforcing fabric or the like is initially fixed on the surface of said coat by means of knifing filler, e.g. by means of a thin layer of mortar, and after solidification of the latter thereon, the second coat of plaster can be applied. If necessary, it is also possible to build up a relatively large number of layers in this way. Despite an unstable base, an outer coat of plaster is produced which avoids cracking and is nevertheless stable and which can provide good protection for the building element provided with insulating boards. |
