PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube in which vacuum leakage caused by a pin hole can be prevented even under a state that the thickness of an X-ray transmissible window for transmitting therethrough X-ray to the outside of a package is reduced.SOLUTION: A target thickness which is thinner than the thickness of an X-ray transmissible window 5 of a conventional device is determined for an X-ray tube 1. A plurality of titan foils which are formed of a metal material and rolled at a predetermined thickness to achieve the target thickness are laminated to configure the X-ray transmissible window 5. Even when a pin hole occurs in a thinly rolled titan foil, the titan foils can be joined to one another by thermal diffusion joint while the pin hole is blocked by the other titans. Accordingly, an X-ray tube 1 having no vacuum leak caused by a pin hole can be manufactured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
