PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system configured to provide an optimal communication path, an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program.SOLUTION: An information processing system 100 includes a first information processing apparatus that provides a service in a first network, and a second information processing apparatus that provides a service in a second network. The first information processing apparatus transmits first access performance information associated with data transfer amount for each of first external devices providing a service in cooperation with each other, to the second information processing apparatus, and receives second access performance information associated with data transfer amount for each of second external devices providing a service in cooperation with each other, from the second information processing apparatus, to be stored as shared access performance information. The first information processing apparatus selects an external device for file transfer, in reference to the shared access performance information stored in time series, on the basis of the time when a file transmission request is received. When the second external device is selected, the first information processing apparatus transfers the file transmission request to the second information processing apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
