PURPOSE:To navigate a ship safely and efficiently in a narrow water area or a harbor, by outputting various condition signals to a navigation center from the ship, and automatically steering the ship in accordance with a steering signal from the navigation center. CONSTITUTION:When a ship 1 sails in a narrow water area or a harbor, she outputs various condition signals to a center transmitting and receiving device 7 from a ship receiving device 2, and also plots them to a control map of a navigation center 5. A controlling computer 8 of the center 5 operates an optimum steering condition of the ship 1 in accordance with various information signals from a radar 6 and various condition signals from the device 7, and outputs a steering signal to the ship transmitting and receiving device 2 from a remote controller 9. When the steering signals is transmitted to the device 2, the ship 1 is switched to automatic steering from the center 5, a steering device 3 is steered automatically, and a main engine controller 4 is operated automatically. |
