PURPOSE:To detect a focus with higher accuracy than conventional systems, by arranging in parallel a plurality of elements connecting two amorphous silicon photodiodes having equal photodetecting area and sensitivity on the same insulation board. CONSTITUTION:Transparent electrodes (In2O3-SnO2) 9-1 and 9-2 are formed on glass board 8 and a pickup projection B is fitted to the electrode 9-2. Next thin Al films 10-1 and 10-2 are vapor deposited, the film 10-1 is partly overlapped with the film 9-1 and the film 10-2 is provided with a pickup projection C. Amorphous silicon layers 11-1-11-4 are formed on the films 10-1 and 10-2 and the electrodes 9-1 and 9-2. Finally, a part of the films 11-1-11-4 is covered with Al vapor-deposited films 12-1-12-3 and electrode terminals A and D are fitted. Thus, the two amorphous silicon diodes 11-1 and 11-2 are bonded in series as the element. A plurality of the elements 14 are disposed in parallel to assemble an automatic focus adjusting device for cameras and the like. Thus, a detector with higher accuracy than conventional systems can be obtained. |
