发明名称 PRODUCTION FOR MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium which has both of a high recording density and a flexibility and has less level fluctuation, by forming a multilayered magnetic thin film, where respective layers are insulated from one another by intermediate layers consisting of elastic materials, on a base film and subjecting this base film to a calender treatment. CONSTITUTION:The first magnetic layer 14, an intermediate layer 16 consisting of an elastic material, and the second magnetic layer 18 are formed on a base film 10, and this multilayered magnetic material film is subjected to a calender treatment. For example, a ground layer 12 due to vapor-deposition of Al or the like is formed on the polyester film 10, and the magnetic layer 14 consisting of Co-Ni alloy or the like is formed on the layer 12 by the electron beam vapor- deposition method. Next, a high molecular compound dissolved in a solvent is coated onto the magnetic layer 14 and is dried by heating to form the intermediate layer 16, and this material is sent to a vapor-depositing device again to form the metallic magnetic layer 18, and a protecting layer 20 is formed on the layer 18 by the method similar to formation of the layer 16. This film is subjected to the calender treatment by a heat roll at 80-110 deg.C to generate a magnetic tape.
