PURPOSE:To prevent the initial voltage from temporalily dropping and to obtain a cell offering excellent flatness of discharge voltage, discharge capacitance and storage characteristics by a method wherein, as a power supply for use in, for instance, electronic wrist watches with a low load, (C2F)n of more than 2% and less than 8% in weight percent of the total amount of fluoric carbon is added to the (C2F)n as an active substance for the anode. CONSTITUTION:A nickel net metal current collector 2 is attached to the inside surface of a stainless steel sealing plate made of a material 1 made of an electrolyte in spot welding and then a circular metal lithium sheet 3 which is 17mm. in diameter and 0.25mm. thick is attached to the surface of the plate under pressure to form a cathode. By the addition of (C2F)n, the potential of the initial discharge is prevented from being temporalily dropped. Although such addition of (C2F)n is not sufficiently effective for the cell B to which the addition of (C2F)n is small in amount, a period of time during which discharging continues is not so much decreased in cells C, D, E wherein 2-8% of (C2F)n has been added to it. Thus a cell with the excellent flatness of voltage could be obtaind. |
