PURPOSE:To manufacture a substrate device provided with the functions similar to the electric wiring having no regard for the thermal effect on the electric elements by a method wherein the circuit substrate is wired making use of optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:A hole 2 is perforated into the substrate board 1 to insert the circuit unit. The groove 3 to finish the periphery 2a of said hole 2 and to insert the circuit unit into said hole 2 and the other tapered groove 4 to tighten said circuit unit rotatively are formed. Besides the prisms 5 to be the photojoints are provided on the bottom of said hole 2 and the photoconductive wave guides 6 are abutted against said prisms. Next the electric element to be fixed to said board 1 is contained inthe case 7 comprising the container 7a and the cover 7b and said container 7a is made cylindrical to be inserted into said hole 2 and the side 8a is smoothed down. Besides the photomodulation elements 9 making the light signals enter into said hole 2 obliquely against said guides 6 are provided corresponding to said prisms 5 on the side 8b located lower than the side 8a to transmit the output of the contained element from said photoconductive wave channel 6.
