PURPOSE:To obtain stable surface potential (image) when a photoreceptor is used for successively repeating copy, by using a ternary copolymer of vinylidene chloride, acrylonitrile, and the third component monomer as the binder resin of a photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A dispersion type photoconductive layer consists of an inorganic photoconductor and as a binder, a ternary copolymer of vinylidene chloride, acrylonitrile, and the third component monomer. Said copolymer can be synthesized by radical polymerization using a radical polymerization initiator. The third component monomer can be selected properly from vinyl compounds, and vinyl acetate, styrene, acrylic acid, acrylate, methacrylate, etc. are preferred. A suitable amount of binder is 0.5-50pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of photoconductor. |
