A toy loom comprises spacing members (2) disposed between frame plates (1), warp yarn holders (3), a shuttle (16) and a movable cylinder (6) for forming different sheds consisting of warp yarn guide discs (7-10) releasably and/or non- releasably interconnected. The guide discs (7-10) are provided on one side with warp yarn guide studs (11) and on the other with corresponding guide recesses (14). The arrangements of guide studs (11) on the warp yarn guide discs (7-10) may be such that two said studs (11) are disposed with a 90 DEG or 180 DEG offset, or three studs (11) are disposed with a 2 x 90 DEG offset or a 120 DEG offset. The discs may be colour coded to indicate the number and disposition of studs thereon.
