<p>PURPOSE:To supply a coating agent at a fixed flow rate without pulsation by continuously discharging the coating agent from each reciprocating pump at a fixed flow rate in accordance with the flow rate of a working fluid, and interrupting the supply of the coating agent from a coating agent supply source to the reciprocating pumps at that time. CONSTITUTION:The working fluid is successively and alternately supplied from one working fluid supply source 12 to a set of reciprocating pumps 1A and 1B wherein a diaphragm 4 is pressed by the working fluid and which supply the coating agent to an applicator 3 at the flow rate corresponding to the flow rate of the working fluid. When the supply of the working fluid to one reciprocating pump is switched to the other pump, the supply of the working fluid to the other reciprocating pump is started before the supply of the working fluid to the one reciprocating pump is stopped, and the supply of the coating agent to the reciprocating pump from the coating agent supply source 2 is interrupted when the working fluid is supplied to each reciprocating pump. As a result, the coating agent can be continuously supplied to the applicator at a preset specified flow rate without causing pulsation.</p> |
