The system is used for playing games on the screen of a TV. The cct. has symbol generators which when coupled to a TV will display on the screen a movable symbol which may be used in TV games. A prerecorded AF playback appts.(10) has digital data recorded on it. The data comprises instructions relating to the position of the symbols on the screen. A demodulator is coupled to playback appts. and has a number of outputs coupled to a symbol generator. Each output provides instructions regarding a different positioning of the symbol on the screen. Manual control inputs are provided for the symbol generators which are synchronised. The output signals from the generators are summed by cct.
