<p>The assembly serves for magnetically securing a magnetizable object (14) thereto and comprises a plurality of permanent magnet members (2) of a like shape and size arranged regularly in a predetermined set of positions in the assembly for individually producing magnetic fields of a uniform field strength; support means (7) for holding said permanent magnet members (2) securely therein and positioning said members (2) spaced apart from one another in an essentially magnetically insulating relationship; and magnetic path-forming means (5, 12) for providing a magnetic path for each of said permanent magnet members (2) to be magnetically conducted with said magnetizable object (14), thereby magnetically securing said assembly to said object (14).</p> |
