PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for guiding a nonwoven fabric web comprising plastic fibers, conveyed in a conveyance direction F, and a corresponding nonwoven fabric web guide apparatus which are capable of effectively avoiding disadvantages in the prior art.SOLUTION: In an apparatus, a nonwoven fabric web having a web thickness d equal to or less than 2 mm and a weight per unit area equal to or less than 30 g/mis brought into contact with at least one guide roll and/or treatment roll, or at least one roll unit comprising at least two guide rolls and/or treatment rolls. In a conveyance direction F, upstream of or immediately upstream of the roll or the roll unit, and/or downstream of or immediately downstream of the roll or the roll unit, there is provided at least one stabilization plate extending in the conveyance direction F of the nonwoven fabric web and transversely with respect to the conveyance direction F. The nonwoven fabric web is guided along the at least one stabilization plate such that a space a between the surface on the side of the nonwoven fabric web of the stabilization plate and the surface of the nonwoven fabric is 0 to 20 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
