<p>7 48,195 This invention relates to a drawout switchgear wherein the switchgear is located in a cell having a front opening, the switchgear being movable into and out of the cell which has stationary terminals supported in the cell itself, the movable unit has a terminal mounted on it as well, and the terminals on the movable unit engages the stationary terminals of the cell. When the unit is in operative working relationship in the cell, a blow-out prevention device, which is in the form of a stop, is mounted between the cell and the unit to prevent the unit from being blown out of place when high magnetic forces occur. The stop has at least two champs which are pivotally mounted in the cell and are movable into and out of the path of the unit to allow the unit to be removed from the cell.</p> |
