<p>PURPOSE:A novel urethane-acrylate or methacrylate prepolymer that is made by reaction of a polyixocyanate with a compound having hydroxyl and unsaturated groups, thus showing high polymerization sensitivity and good air-curing characteristics and giving cured films with good physical properties. CONSTITUTION:The reaction with a polyisocyanate with (A) a mixture of compounds of the formula (R is H, methyl; n is 1-4) where the compound (n=1) is less than 5mol%, the one (n=2) is 1-30mol%, n=3 is 20-60mol% and n=4 is the rest, (B) a compound having 2 hydroxyls and 1 or more unsaturated groups such as ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether and (C) a compound having 1 hydroxyl and 1 or more unsaturated groups such as 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate or methacrylate is effected, wherein the polyisocyanate is made to react with compound A, compounds A+B and compounds A+C or with compounds A+B+C, when necessary, to give the objective prepolymer.</p> |
