PURPOSE:To improve magnet roll characteristics sush as dimension precision or the like by a method wherein a mixture of a magnetic material and a high molecular compound is extruded to the external circumference of an axis in roll or pipe shapes and an axis of easy magnetization of a magnetic material is oriented after adjusting temperature for magnetization. CONSTITUTION:A thin nonmagnetic metal pipe 12 is inserted in a molding 7 so that the pipe 12 may contact the internal circumference of the molding 7 and a mixture 9 of a magnetic material and a high molecular compound is extruded between the pipe 12 and a shaft 1. Next, the shaft 1 is extracted from the molding 7 with the metal pipe 12 and the shaft is maintained at a temperature of 150-250 deg.C. Then a powerful magnetic field is generated by applying small pressure corresponding to a magnetizing pattern by applying an electromagnet or the like to the shaft 1 from the external circumference of the metal pipe 12 and an axis of easy magnetization of ferrite particles is oriented in the same direction of the line of magnetic induction by the magnetic force and a roll or pipe- shaped molding article having the shaft 1 is obtained. In this way, a roll with good dimension precision, magnetically equal quality, high magnetic flux density and extremely small demagnetization property can be obtained. |
